9.45-15.00 CITY SIGHTSEEING TOUR OF CZĘSTOCHOWA

The town is known for the famous Pauline monastery of Jasna Góra, the third-largest Catholic pilgrimage site in the world. An ancient monastery, built in 1382, in the 17th century transformed into a strong fortress. In the gothic church a chapel with Black Madonna miraculous icon – the place of famous catholic shrine. Pre-registration required (no charge, lunch included).

8.30-18.00  EXCURSION TO KRAKÓW

Cracow (Kraków) – former capital and one of the oldest cities in Poland, dating back to the 7th century. Its Old Town was placed on the Unesco World Heritage List. This excursion features seeing  Krakow in a nutshell: Wawel Hill – cathedral and castle exterior, the Royal Route, Kazimierz -  the historical Jewish district, Main Square and the Jagiellonian University. Pre-registration required (charge 200 PLN). Lunch included.
