Travel options to Częstochowa

Częstochowa can be conveniently reached from airports in Katowice, Krakow, Wrocław, Łódź and Warsaw by railway or bus.

The airports in Warsaw, Krakow and Katowice have international connections operated by a number of  regular air lines ( Lufthansa, Air France, KLM, etc.), while all airports  mentioned above  have a number of direct  international connections operated by "low cost airlines" (www. wizzair.com; www. ryanair.com, easyjet.com).

Bus: Czestochowa has several relatively inexpensive international bus connections with most European countries. Please consult your local travel agencies for timetables and prices.

Rail: International trains on routes Vienna-Warsaw, Budapest-Vienna-Warsaw and Prague-Warsaw stop in Katowice (60 km south of Czestochowa) or in Sosnowiec (50 km south of Czestochowa), from where local trains provide frequent connections to Czestochowa.
